‘It’s moments like this that really do make all of the hard work over the years feel worthwhile!’

The J B Cole team are so excited to announce that we have been featured in an 8-page spread in November 2018’s Web Designer Magazine – a leading industry magazine designed to give inspiration to today’s web designers and developers.

When we were approached to feature in the magazine, we started looking back at our journey over the last 8 years. Between 2010 – 2018, we have evolved from 2 twenty-somethings to a team of 10 – and growing – with a client list that includes well-known brand names such as The NHS, Transport for London and The National Trust to name a few.

The last 8 years have been an extremely exciting journey for us and have come with much change. We have grown in size, pivoted our business, expanded our client portfolio and set up an office in Manchester, where the bulk of the team now operates. We’ve also refined our services, focusing on our aim to be long-term digital partners to our clients and guiding them through complex large-scale changes rather than individual projects.

We spoke to our CEO to get his thoughts on this momentous milestone:

“The last 8 years have been an incredible journey for us. Looking back at Ollie (CTO) and I (CEO) starting life out in our early 20’s in a 110 sq.ft office in Pinner, North West London, moving into a photography studio, into offices in London and pivoting our business into digital technology as well as taking on a number of new team members over the years, it has been a really interesting and enjoyable ride! For us to now have offices spanning Hertfordshire and Manchester and a fantastic team supporting us is really what it’s all about.

We have big ambitions for the coming years and are proud to be a part of such a well-recognised magazine as Web Designer Magazine. It’s moments like this that really do make all of the hard work over the years feel worthwhile and drive us to continue pushing the business forward. Here’s to the next 8 years!”

Josh Bolland, CEO
