Welcome to the team – Beth!

We sat down with Beth at the start of this week, to discuss everything from her love to poetry, to why she wanted to work for a digital agency, here’s what she had to say…

Tell us a bit about yourself
I am 21 and currently studying at the University of Manchester for my English Literature degree. I’m originally from Blackpool, but love the city and all of the wonderful things there are to do and see here. In my spare time you can find me reading my way through a big stack of books, writing stories and drinking lots of coffee.

Why did you want to get into marketing and content writing?
Writing has always been something I love doing, no matter what the topic, and I’m also really interested in social media, so marketing seemed like the career I naturally slot into. I love that marketing can completely change the way a business presents itself and how it can be used to benefit others as well as the company.

What are your hobbies and passions?
I have too many hobbies and passions to list off, but as you may have guessed by now, the biggest are reading and writing. I love reading all the newest literary fiction and poetry releases, and I’m currently trying to write my own novel in my spare time. Although I seem like a bookworm, I’m super passionate about politics and supporting causes I care about.

Why J B Cole UK and what are you looking forward to?
J B Cole seem like an amazing company to work for, and I love their people-first focus and flexibility. Digital Technology is such a growing industry and I’m really excited to learn more about it whilst working in a family business that takes on so many interesting projects.
