UX/UI Designer

Our family-led technology consultancy is currently on the lookout for a UX/UI Designer to join our expanding team and push us ahead. We are a creative technology consultancy, tackling the complex technical challenges that others shy away from. Have you got what it takes?
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of UX and impeccable UI design skills. Someone who is extremely organised and who is capable of working directly with clients, able to work within a team and alone. They should have the ability to work to tight deadlines and be self motivated.
Responsibilities
- Assess detailed design requirements for websites, web and mobile apps (taking a ‘brief’)
- Assess and estimate accurate timelines and roadmap against a project
- Provide creative input from the start of a project and oversee the creative throughout
- Produce web and app design concepts that fit our client’s requirements
- Present options for designs and pitches using Adobe XD
- Create sitemaps and wireframes for new digital products
- Create internal company designs and marketing materials
- Support and update our internal website design requirements
- Being able to convert your designs into web-ready responsive HTML is a bonus!
- Source, research and propose suitable lightweight animations
- Carry out in-depth design and web design QA
Requirements
- Have strong creative and communication skills
- Be highly organised with a keen eye for detail
- Have the ability to learn and adapt quickly to evolving technologies
- Be personable and work as part of a team
- Demonstrate an eagerness for what technology can do – shows flair for creation, comes up with own ideas, likes what’s around
- Be keen to learn and a passion for technology
- Be a good communicator, smart, quick on feet, fast learner
- Have mac experience
Personal Attributes
- 3+ years design experience in a web or app agency
- Proven interest in working in the digital technology sector
- Keen to learn and grow
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of standard tools of the web – Google, Skype, Docs, Gmail
