Nokia Music and the Sundance Channel required a site for their first collaboration.
The collaboration was to be a six-film study of the current state of American music. J B Cole managed the design of the site and developed the system from scratch, integrating high-quality YouTube feeds into a single page system.
Nokia Music and the Sundance Channel required a website for their first collaboration, a six-film study of the current state of American music. It needed to be visually-appealing and highly functional, providing a great user experience for viewers visiting the site.
We created a fully functioning music and video player within an interactive landing page, with visually-rich content and full-bleed imagery and videos. Once implemented, the player popped out from a sidebar and allowed the user to select videos or music from the chosen city in America. Videos opened in full screen for easy viewing and the control options faded out as the video played.
Built in HTML5 and connecting to a JSON database, the site was built in just 4 weeks and had over 7000 views in its debut week with little press promotion.
